Frederic Vanbecelaere

Hi, I'm Fred.

I am a passionate landscape architect with over eight years of international experience. I was born and raised in Belgium, where my professional journey began under the mentorship of renowned landscape architect, Jean Noel Capart.

In 2018, I moved to Australia and have furthered my design career in this vast and diverse country, which has led me to establish The Rustle on the South Coast of NSW.

Bachelor of Horticulture | ISIA Gembloux (Belgium) 2007 to 2010

Bachelor of Landscape Architecture | ISIA Gembloux (Belgium) 2010 to 2013

Member of ABAJP-BVTL (Belgian Association for Landscape Architects)

Member of AILA (Australian Association of Landscape Architects)

My vision is to create landscapes and gardens that resonate with the surrounding environment, embracing the principles of sustainability and conservation.

While I understand that the complexity of a fully balanced ecosystem may not be achievable in every garden, my goal is to create environments that foster a sense of harmony and respect for nature.

I am committed to making a meaningful impact through my work, and through The Rustle Landscape Architecture, I hope to contribute to Australia’s landscape architecture community in a significant and enduring way.
